Job Types are how you will categorize the different jobs you do in Táve.
Types might include: Wedding, Family, Seniors, or Corporate
With these settings, we’re going to set up the foundation of the work you do in Táve. These settings help organize the type of work you do, the type of events you schedule, and the roles the people associated with those events will play.
Your trial account comes pre-populated with a list of each of these. Feel free to change them as you see fit. It’s good to go through them and adjust them so that they better reflect your business and the type of work you do.

Because studio management systems are quite different from each other, there is no real easy way to get all of your previous data into Táve. We’ve had users do one of the following when transitioning:
a) Manually enter EVERYTHING (maybe even hire a data entry person to do this)
b) Finish out the current bookings in your current management system and do only new clients in Táve (use whatever backups that system provides as references if you need them in the future)
c) Only manually add the current bookings in Táve and use the backups for any completed jobs. Book new clients in Táve going forward.
